when is the best time to go to mexico, in the riveria maya. when are you most likely to get rain and hurricanes. we have been twice the end of october but got a fair bit of rain. we were thinking beginning of april or last two weeks in july. july is much cheaper.

I have been the last two weeks in March a couple of times and the weather was great both time. No rain at all just 1 or 2 cloudy days.

the Atlantic hurricane season is June 1-November 30; it doesn't mean you will definitely get wet then or stay dry at other times, but that's when the risk of bad weather is higher. If July is much cheaper, maybe that's the reason (October too).

I went in April last year and it was glorious, really warm and, apart from one cloudy morning, not a cloud in the sky!
