I've got all of Bowies albums up to Let's Dance.

I thought he went 'off the boil' a bit in the 90s, but I've heard that 1.Outside is really good.

Can you tell me - what is it like, if you could say "1.Outside is like..." which album would you say it's similar to, or is it a completely new direction?
