Not sure if this the correct Topic section to ask this, but here goes;- As an active member of our local Methodist Church, it has come to our notice of a decision to start to tax non-domestic properties on the rain water that is drained off our buildings into the sewers. Previously, churches, schools and community buildings were exempt from paying for this service, but now apparently things are going to change, and charges are to be introduced gradually, so that by 2010 we shall be paying up to 600 for this service. I have read that it only applies to metered properties, does anyone have any information please
Many thanks naomi for the 2 links. Our Church members were not aware of this until I read a snippet in the paper the other day. The links explain it fully, thanks
