Anyone remember thames at 6 in the 70s. Trying to remember the little jewish bloke with black hair, think his name was Monty .. Thanks

Yeah, except it was spelt Modlyn
And George who did a rather boring bit at the end. The problem was that he didn't seem to have a script. I remember once when he was still talking and the titles came up and the programme ended. On another occasion the show under ran and he and Andrew Gardner were talking about nothing for about 2 minutes!

I still remember the theme music too.
I think the theme was a tune called "Windy", but I may be getting confused.

Windy was the theme to Today (Bill Grundy, Eamonn Andrews) which came before Thames at 6.

The Thames at 6 theme was a commissioned production piece that lasted all of 1 minute.
