Thanks for the previous answers but I still seem to be having problems with a missing/corrupted/deleted driver that's preventing my computer from shutting down other than by using the "kill" switch.

How do I find out the exact answer to the problem?

cant find your last post....what was it about, and what did u do to attempt to solve the problem???

Hi PatTheRat.......Question 108883.....I seem to have a corruption somewhere.....something to do with trying to make an illegal connection via IBOS.    I'm afraid it's all Double-Dutch to me and I haven't much of a clue what to do.
