Yes, if you have a license to broadcast over the frequency you wish to use. So basically, that's a no, because most people don't have that license. For that reason most use, and sale of these items is illegal in the UK. But realistically, your chances of getting busted? By police who should be out catching burglars?

My friend has one. He uses it in his car to listen to music. Puts it in glove compartment and then tunes into the music using the radio. Id like to see the police pull someone over for doing this!
