Can you provide me with information on how to obtain the keycode for the ignition of my 1984 Nissan Sentra?

main dealers usually with registration doc, give them a call first before making your trip. Otherwise, if they do not have it, it could be a question of replacing the whole ignition. As the car is 84, I would think it more likely than them having the keycode. but you never know.
