Apologies if this is not the right place to do this, but does anyone know of spmeone who can transfer old video cassettes to DVD in the Southport area . I have quite a few from when the children were little. Thanks

Or if you're feeling flush you can pay someone to do it. Most camera shops such as Jessops offer a servvice as well as local indepentent camera shops. Costs vary some charge per tape others charge on the amount of footage e.g. 1 hr of transfer time for �10.
If you are paying someone else to do it it is worth reviewing the material first to make sure it is worth paying for.
I've just done a family compilation tape that had an hours worth of various films in the middle. Had I not reviewed it first that would have been a waste of time and dvd space.
