Storage Mode?
1 Answers
Is anyone aware of the 'storage mode' that the body is supposed to revert to when a person skips meals? I have been skipping meals for a few years and have been putting on weight like nobodies business. I think there be a grain of truth in it. Apparently it slows the metabolism down. If I start to eat regularly, will my metabolism recover?

Skipping meals is no good as it encourages you to snack instead. Regular meals of healthy food and adequate exercise is the key to long term weight loss. Don't expect to lose a lot of weight in a few weeks - 1lb a week is still 3 and a half stone in a year.
