has anyone got any recommendations for a good pub/hotel in either Morton In the marsh or Stow on the wold?

Hope you get this. I've had problems posting today. Many years ago I stayed at the Unicorn Hotel in Sheep Street, Stow. It was excellent and the location was perfect. However, as I say, this was quite a few years ago so maybe you should check on their website for more recent reviews. Enjoy your holiday wherever you choose to stay. It's a beautiful part of the country.
