Thanks weeal. I don't think my flood was as bad as yours China. Thankfully I noticed it when it was just soaking into the edge of the carpet and got the carpet up in time. The underlay is pretty wet, but I have all the doors and windows open and shall just leave it to dry out and then my brother (bless him) is going to come over and sort it all out for me.

Well my weekend just got better. There is, it appears, an airshow just up the road from me. Just had a fantastic display by a Hawk. So am going to sit in the garden and watch planes and sod the freezer.
