Can indoor azaleas be planted outside after they have finished flowering?

Yes but only plant them in ericaceous (lime-free) soil and water in with rain water.
It might not survive the winter...pit plants aren't bred for hardiness. if you don't care give it a go..if its an important plant then use a big tub and wrap or shelter it in the winter
