Northern Ireland Census
The Adjusted Census figures for N.I. have been released and show that 53% protestant and 44% catholic is the most up to date split of the country....So what happens when it gets to be 48.5% each or worse for Mr Paisley 52% catholic. Will he still be shouting for majority rule then? And by the way before anyone jumps in i'm in the remaining 3% and couldn't care one way or the other.

OK then let's respond to some of the points raised, first a great idea Ned, it's very common in glasgow to go shopping or any where in the city and see Black, Indian, Chinese a huge mix of cultures whereas even in Belfast it's very rare so a better mix would dilute the problems perhaps, Straz get a life, please and Gef i don't have a fixation i have a dislike of bigotry, segregation and sectarianism and would like to see (if i can ask for a xmas present) an end to to troubles as for your comment that only 3% aren't bigoted then i have to disagree, as it's only a very very small proportion on each side that perpetuate these problems. Lastly it's nice to see TW back again and posting (where had you gone mate?) but the independence route is surely self defeating for people who want to stay part of an island group (though having said that the majority in the group couldn't care less and have no grasp of the whole problem). Maybe we can save them the trouble and declare independence ourselves and save them the trouble by finishing the UK in that method?
