OK. Whose done it? How did you do it? I want to stop.

Tips and advice all welcome please.

(No lectures about how bad it is for you, blah blah blah (I know all of that)) - just want useful tips about what to do to stay calm, keep hands busy etc.

Cheers.

Hiya. I would definetly consider Allen Carrs books as suggested above. I wasnt even thinking about quitting 5 months ago when a work colleague suggested I read the book just to see what happens! I read it and completely shocked myself by not having a fag since. My boyfriend read it and did exactly the same. Its brilliant!

Good luck to you x

If you really, really, REALLY want to stop then you will. Me and my girlfriend decided to stop on New Years Day this year and we haven't had one since. The first few days were very hard - and made all the more easier by using Patches. Patches are superb! They completely take away the craving and give you a nice buzz as well! You just have to find something to do with your hands while you get out of the habit. I recommend biting your nails! Good luck.

I do smoke actually and what i would say to that i basically smoking is a habit think of what made u start and how it developed.  The reason why it is so hard to stop is because it is a habit.  Find another habit, another way to take up your time.  COLD TURKEY!
