Why are hospitals so hot?

I've been down there since 9.30 this morning and I feel really sick now. I had to keep going outside in the cold because I thought I was going to faint.

general wards are hot, but maternity wards are stifling! newborns need the warmth and obviously people who cant move around get colder faster so maybe thats it

Well we were in casualty for most the day. I wouldn't have thought that needed to be so hot. It's sickening....

I will have to go back tomorrow as well :-(
