Is there anyway to check how much memory my computer has? I got it 4 years ago. Would it be 1gb do you think? Is there anyway to go into the "my computer icon" and see? Going to upgrade my whole computer, but want to make sure I upgrade to more then I have.

Right-click the "My Computer" icon and click "Properties". This will show you how much RAM you have.

Oh yes, THANKS
Hi There,
There are usually spare memory slots (3 or 4) on the motherboard so memory can be added incrementally. i.e. the current memory card can be left in and two or three more added.
Go into Windows Explorer, find your hard drive then right click on it. In properties tab it will show total capacity, how much free and how much used.
