Looking forward to American Idol but I have completely lost the channel, as well as lots of other ITV channels. What is happening ? Is it my area - Surrey - or the weather or my aerial ? I do have problems with my aerial but not completely lost channels - saying 'No Service'.

Do a full install scan again.
Best to do a rescan with antenna unplugged first, then a new scan with antenna plugged in. This avoids duplicate channels.
If you still have problems, it is antenna or downlead (that's assuming you had all channels before!)

It's back OK today. I had a feeling it wasn't my aerial, as I had a guy round a couple of weeks ago, we get a very bad 'clicky' picture with lines going across, quite a lot of the time. He seems to think it's the trees nearby. Anyway picture back now so all OK. Thanks Al
Hi smurfchops

Sometimes atmospheric conditions......wind, snow, rain, cold and signal strengh at main local antenna station can all contribute to temporary loss of certain channels, but as in your case, they DO return eventually. Glad they did. :0)

All the best
