Does anyone in AB take thyroxin?

I forgot to pick up my prescription and I shall miss Saturday and Sunday.    Does it really matter if I miss a couple of days?   I have never missed in five years.

Perhaps Incitatus is reading this?

It's not a big deal if it's only a couple of days. It apparantly takes ages to get into your system anyway so it's not like you're gonna feel any immediate effect. I forgot to take mine for a couple of days once and was fine.

Depends on what you're being treated for... if it's hypothyroidism... low thyroid function... Hermia is probably correct.  But, if you've had the thyroid removed, you will experience more drastic results, including lethargy and possible lowered mental alertness leading to confusion...

I agree with hermia - a day or two doesnt make much difference.
