A group of crows is referred to as a 'murder' of crows.

a jury of one's peers ?
A jury of matrons ! This was a jury of married women sworn to decide whether an accused woman was pregnant. If she was, she could not be hanged.
If there isn't a collective noun to describe a group in the animal kingdom as ''A jury of...", (and I can't find one), then there ought to be!! A type of parrot perhaps?, since the word comes from the Latin 'jurare' meaning 'to swear'!! ;o)
