I have a Mk1 2.0 Mondeo. The engine hesitates at about 2,000 rpm, on light throttle. Accelerate, and it clears and runs ok.It idles ok. It doesn't feel like a missfire on the electrical side.It is more like a weak mixture.I have checked vacuum pipes, and changed the potentiometer. Any ideas.

Thanks for the advice. I visited the website you suggested, and found several questions regarding the same fault.Quite a few answers suggested blanking off the EGR valve. I blanked off the vacuum pipe to it, and at last the fault has cleared. Thanks.
