what decibel reduction can I expect on airborne and impact noise if I take up the floorbaords and stuff them with rockwool? Property is Victorian flat and was converted prior to regs on this.

I know that if you play drums it is the vibration that travels through the building and annoys everyone: It is recommended that you build a floor on top of the floor and insulate this to prevent said vibrations. I have also seen sites that recommend putting up thick carpets around the room to absorb the sound waves but I think it is the lower bassy vibrational noise which is harder to combat.
Egg boxes are good at soundproofing too, it's because an uneven surface breaks up the soundwaves.
