For some reason, my Paint programme has disappeared from my computer. Is it possible to download the Paint programme anywhere from the internet, or do I need a disk to install it?

Are you sure it has disappeared and not just been moved? Do a search for it in your Windows Explorer window (sorry if you already know this) and if you still can't find it... sorry, I don't know where you could download it from. It might be easier just to buy a new paint program. Paint is very basic.
Try restoring your system to a time before it disappeared. I would recommend Paint 2 from the link below. As is noted in the overview,
"It is meant to be a free replacement for the MS Paint software that comes with all Windows operating systems."
Hope this helps.

You could also try adding it from the Control panel,>add programmes,>Windows components,>accessories - Paint is in there - it may be that you need to fully delete it firstly then re-boot the computer and reinstall it by ticking the appropriate box.
