Liverpool: A New Beginning?
http://news.bbc.co.uk...liverpool/8876510.stm
Kenny Huang is amongst those who has made an offer to buy Liverpool FC. Listening to Radio 5 last evening, he seems to be a very respectable businessman (though the same was probably said of the Americans a few years ago), and he wants to write off the debt as well as build the new ground. And, apparently, there could be "unlimited" money available because he has direct connections with the Chinese government.
But the deal has to done within 2 weeks otherwise he will walk away, partly because he wants to give Hodgson some time (and money for transfers?) before the start of the season. It was said that RBS, who are owed all the money, will effectively act as a 6th member of the board, meaning that the Americans could be outvoted 4-2.
It has to happen doesn't it?

Only problem is I can see a time, like in the NFL,the clubs become franchises and move about...Man City to Abu Dhabi,Liverpool to Shanghai,Arsenal to Paris,Man Utd to Surrey...etc
My humble club West Brom are about to have another crack at the greed league and have so far spent £700,000 in the transfer market,we are doomed to relegation and I'll take it on the chin, again, but at least we are run correctly and remain British.
