I know it's only fictitious, but the script writers are just so ignorant of how schools are run, what you can and can't do, LEA'S, etc. The whole thing is getting to me now!!! I watch it and am driving Mr LL nutty complaining about all the mistakes whilst I am supposedly enjoying watching it.
I used to quite like it. It is totally ridiculous now!
Anyone agree?

I suppose I'm being a bit hypercritical 'cos I used to laugh at Spitting Image :o)
Well it's very still outside, it's been a lovely afternoon & the michelmas daisies & sedums out, so we're on the final lap of what was supposed to be summer.
Just had a mail from Clarks shoes, if you like their pumps there's £15 off some of them

Where's the thread on royalty Robi give us a clue.
I was a real Diana Fan at the time. I know she was rich and could have anything she wanted but she couldn't fine happiness with anybody which was sad.
I also respect the Queen as a person because she is a hard working, family loving and stoic but she knows nothing of the ordinary way of life and will never know what it is like to be short of anything. I felt at one time that royalty brought loads of tourists and their cash to this country but I think that is changing and like Neti says after she has gone things will be different.
I'm saving that Shoe site for a good look tomorrow Robi. Left my stuff in the Mind shop bought me umbrella from Age Concern and me bag from the Research Shop all reasonable. The umbrella was brand new and was only £1.99 they had loads. Off to watch Midsomer now
see yer later 'gater(s)

Evening all, I've been out in the 17 degrees Celsius (well not anymore but earlier on). Thanks all for saying nice things about da dog, it will make sis proud. So sorry about Epsom Road Shaney; I shall mention it to sis and who knows it may save Ozzy-Yoshi-Fozzie-Mossie's life one day. Can't place that song Neti, I'll nip over to YouTube in a mo. I swear my old cat liked Bright Eyes and so I just fall apart when I hear that one. Believe me, she liked it. And once it was on the taxi driver's radio when we were going to the vet's... just can't hear it without crying.
Oh my yes I agree Shaney these letters are pale. Or actually I think it may be that the white background seems so very white now, it's blinding.
He he I had the same thought Robinia - niiice OH jno;-) http://i55.tinypic.com/mn9zb.jpg The best thing about British royalty is Duchy Originals oaten biscuits, yum-yummy-yum, the ones with ginger, the ones with lemon and the ones for cheese, oh they're sooo good. Have to say I never understood why people b1tch about Camilla? ...but she's never on the telly here so I don't really have an opinion, I'm just wondering.

The text in the answer box is pale grey to me too but legible. I will rifle through my questions and send one round..I have loads with very few answers, must have been a wilhelmina no mates when i joined lol. Its quite foggy here today. Yesterday though was horrible, grey and humid. Neti you are naughty....aren't folk easy to wind up though??
I've got books to drop off to our local charity shop today. I try to give to the smaller non national shops...Oxfam have got very naughty with their book prices lately, anyone else noticed?
I have the new Terry Pratchett book to read which is wonderful, he's a really clever guy, has lots to say about the human condition but wraps it up in fantasy and humour.
laters all
