LED GU10 bulbs
7 Answers
I recently purchased some of the above for my bathroom to replace the 4 GU10 halogen bulbs (50 watts each !!!!!). The LEDs (3 watts each !!!) give a lovely crisp blue, white light.
They were up for a few weeks when i noticed some of the LEDs within the cluster on one bulb had gone out. There are about 35 LEDs to a bulb and 1/3 to 1/2 were not working. The next day, they came back on again but the same happened to a different bulb.
This has been happenning for a number of weeks now and in the end, all 4 bulbs had some of the LEDs not working.
last night, 2 of the bulbs packed up completely.
Any suggestions ? They are definately rated for mains 240v supply, not 12v.
Many thanks

I tried the cheap ones at first and gradually built up to the more expensive ones, but they all kept blowing. In the end I decided to buy a low wattage, so purchased some 20W bulbs. This was 2 weeks ago, and they are all still working.
