Shiny / oily face

I've always had combination skin but just recently, my face is soooooooooooooo oily it's driving me crazy, I'm constantly applying powder to soak it up!!!

Does anyone know of any cleanser, toner, moisturiser specially for this problem??

Maybe this sounds a bit strange - I had an oily face for ages, but the only thing that stopped it was not to wash it - Now I rinse it under the shower in the mornings and no problems at all - Cleared up all my spots too. A good cheap remedy - Was the same with my feet! - I hope this works for you - Give it a week or so.

Try OC8 Oil Control genius (available at Boots), that works quite well on my shiny nose.  Snap is right that over-cleansing etc can cause your face to overcompensate and produce excess oil, so go easy on the washing etc, maybe use a light liquid cleanser and toner rather than water.  In extreme cases I use a theatrical anti-shine liquid under make-up but it's too drying to use on a daily basis.

I use Simple Oil Control products (from Superdrug or Asda) which prevent shine and St Ives facial scrub every other day to exfoliate my skin, and always make sure you remove your make-up before you go to bed at night!

I'm currently using a cleanser & then toner, then moisturiser for combination skin.

I'll give some of your suggestions a go... much appreciated :-)
