I have been told that you can buy a DVD with all the Beatles albums on in mp3 format. Is this legal? If so where can I buy it?

No, it's not legal. But you can buy it on ebay, where it's legal to be sold as they get round the copyright issue with some form of disclaimer.

If they have duplicated copyright material, without a licence from the owner, then no form of disclaimer could make it legal for them to sell on. However I don't think owning it is a problem.

So if you buy it off E bay - there are a couple - who is at risk of legal action, the person who copied them, or the person who buys it for their own use?

Own use being copying onto mp3 player?
