Spybot Search and Destroy

Since I installed the above-I get messages when any change is attempted....like just now a mini window came up saying "spybot search and destroy has detected an important registry entry that has been changed"...in this case it is for flash player.There is also a check box to allow the change,or not.
Is this the norm for spybot?

ahhhh...thanks chris. Not sure I understood all the techie bits.....but as this showed up 'out of the blue' as described-I think I will not allow it. I have had no messages that Flash Player wants to update(as I usually would)....so I feel a bit wary
