What is the missing word?

I always thought it was tie which rhymes with high but when I google the lyrics, some say pet and some say bag.

I'm sure this has probably been asked in the past and if so, I apologise.
But please can you tell me?

Thanks for the link which says it's pie. Does that mean the pie you eat or pie as in maths as I don't know if the spelling is the same not having done it when I was at school?

Pi (without E) is the 16th letter of the Greek alphabet and in maths Pi (without E) has a value of approx. 3.142.

I always assumed it was Pie like I spelled it as in "American Pie"
