HELP! i just bent down and my big toenail has come off....omg...it's gross! it is now only attached by the nail bed. have phoned nhs direct for direction to get it sorted, but what will happen? can't believe bits are falling off x

I once trapped youngest Junior O's finger ends in the door. Two of his nails lifted from the bottom by the cuticles but wer firmly attached the rest of the way up

My daughter rang yesterday about the same thing. She's recently taken up tennis and I think she's putting more pressure on her toes. Her big toe nail is loose but still attached at one side, she's doing the same as you are....panicking. I'll tell her she'll be OK.
