I love porridge! And good idea kate with soup....and the jelly..i think light custard is ok too!!

Will buy in oatcakes! Its the bread and pasta i struggle with :0(
When you find out please tell me!!!! I have been on a life change action for over a year now but still have bouts of not feeling full.
When not snacking between meals is one of the things I am avoiding this can be a problem.but munching on a nice sweet carrot, although it doesn't sound very exciting is one acceptable "snack" and as you already know, exercise, lots of water and healthy meals but small portions.
Good luck.
It takes about 20 minutes of eating for the satiety center in the brain to think oh thats enough... and it seems eating while doing something else doesn't have the same trigger effect. So eating slowly, and eating foods that release energy slowly like unrefined carbs and protein rich foods is most likely to trip the switch in your head that says ok full now. You also have pressure sensors in your stomach wall that also need to register fullness... that is why bulky foods work for a while. but its the blood sugar levels that are the main driver... so anything that gives a sudden boost like sugary food, triggers an insulin rush , mops up the sugar and the brain says more please.... so avoiding sugary foods is important too.

Ive done not to bad, upped the water intake it does help, and cut out snacks.

I really struggle to follow overly healthy eating plans! So ive just made better choices than normal, no takeaways.....and if i reeeeeally need crisps a pack under 100cals so not too bad, i think my stomachs used to eating a bit less now , still id ratha be eating a ripple hahah xxx
