he's also talking about making squatting a criminal offence, excellent, what do we think? Obvious BGB chances here for the first one that mentions....you know what!
The right to use 'reasonable force' has ever been thus.
Unfortunately, the definition of this is a little vague.
If the 'Projected Targets' bar-graphs and pie-charts could be taken out of modern policing, we might find that the whole issue of Crime and Detection could be better addressed.........
I agree with the sentiments but for the last 15/20 years or so the stupid laws that have been introduced have made some people afraid of their own shadow
I do not understand why squatting is not already a criminal offence. Surely it is a 'no brainer'. At least for anyone with more than 2 IQ points to rub together. Otherwise why is someone without a car not entitled to squat in someone elses and use it?
If you're on your own and feel threatened in your home phone the fire brigade first and tell them you smell burning.... then plod.
The fire boys have strict response times and no bandit will stay around when they arrive.
well Gromit, I am disturbed that they have arrested the householders. Surely they have done us all a favour. worthless thieving scum waive their right to the law when they violate another's home.
its all very well saying you would have a go but would you - When it happened to me I was so terrified I just got out of the house fast with my then little girl to a place of saftey.
I would nanny, but then I'm a young(ish) man. I'd hate my mum to confront one and I've heard stories of burglars putting pans of water on to boil incase they're interrupted.
