I always look on latest posts first when I log on to A/B & I am always disappointed to see the whole of Latest Posts saying '' Crosswords,Quizzes & Puzzles'' all the way down the page,instead of some other interesting subjects does anyone else feel like this ?

It is like that on a Sunday - not one "why did I get arrested?" type post or an amusing one to brighten the day.

Mind you - I have just seen "Happy Birthday Frank" in the pets section and I will just have to go see who Frank is. My avatar is called Frankie (and many more names).

Yes, especially so early in the day when they obviously haven't even bothered to try to work them out. I spend hours trying different words or combinations and can spend weeks trying to solve puzzles. Can't be any pleasure in just filling in someone else's answers, you might as well just get tomorrow's paper and put the answers in from there.

I suppose sometimes people just can't see the wood for the trees and miss the obvious answer. But I think the issue of people not researching things first occurs in all topics. However it is Answerbank.

I feel disappointed when I see the latest posts and instead of crosswords
and puzzles it's all chatter, Lol. Each to their own, I suppose.

No ron - I always look on Latest Posts, I very rarely go to the topic headings - and I'm always thrilled to see lots of crosswords, that was originally what I joined for. Weekends are the best!

Wasnt the site created as an 'answer' forum and the chatterbank element added later? The 'quiz monsters' probably feel the same on everyday except Sunday lol

We have considered a "personal filter" for latest posts though - where you set what topics you'd like to see covered, and ignore the ones you don't. As always this is likely to be a way off!
