zip on my jeans keeps unzipping

The zip on my favourite jeans keeps coming undone. As funny as it sounds It's abit annoying. Any ideas how to stop it without buying a new pair of jeans?

Replace the zip ?

I'm unconvinced they use proper fly zips these days.

Getting a zip professionally replaced will cost about a tenner...

or put a safety pin across the zip just beneath the bit you pull up and down

Get a small elastic band, poke it through the hole in the zip tab then through itself to secure it and when you do up your zip loop the elastic band over the button before you button up. That should stop you flying low.

Get a nappy pin and put it under the zipped up zip inside and clip it up, Digs in like hell but works.

Most zips have a zippers lock in them, to test it, zip the your jeans up and push the handle against the zipper, it should lock into place.

Oldgeezer, it depends how low the waistband is, should worry your privates too much.
