My husband and I are off to a wedding in Toronto next July. We are intending to stay for a week. Does anyone know of an airline that is not too pricey that goes directly to this destination, preferably from Manchester?

Not sure about the airline to use, but ensure you fly at the weekend, as if you fly during the week you will be charged more because of the higher paying business people.

I have flown from UK, to Amsterdam, to Toronto, return for less tha 250 in the past. KLM I think it was.

Hi Le Chat

You could try this site http://www.a1travel.com/home.asp

I have booked flights on here to the states and they are the cheapest i have found. Their advert says they are at least 30% cheaper than brochure prices. Hope this helps

have a look at this site http://www.canadian-affair.com/

I have flown using Zoom Airlines and they do fly from Manchester to Toronto according to their website. They are a low-cost airline, so much cheaper than other airlines:

I'd definitely use Zoom to fly to Canada.
I work for a travel firm and we use them and they are pretty reliable and if you book this far ahead you should get a good deal.

They also have a premium cabin for only about 150 extra than economy so worth it for the bigger seats and extra legroom on a 7 hour flight.

I've been to Canada for many years now. Canadian affair is by for the best,
