We're not properly celebrating until Saturday, but Thing1 and I are going out with Yankee Pal for a quick drink tonight ... maybe a few bourbon and somethings? (I'm not too good on whisk(e)y drinks).

We might grab a burger or something at the pub (see how I'm keeping up the American theme there, and also using the American idiom of "grabbing" a burger).

Is there any football on, or anything? I don't want Yankee Pal's hubby to get the hump if we keep her out late.
