Good evening members old and new,once again Milady and his Ludship are off gallivanting, so it falls to me to welcome you all.

Please leave coats, cloaks,ponchos and broomsticks on the hall dresser and am sure they will get hidden one way or the other. The fires are lit, even the chiminea on the terrace for those who like to take the air,and perhaps view our lovely tree all lit and decorated.

The buffet sideboard is laden with lots of nibbles and I have a large tureen of Mixed Game Bourguignon to be served with crispy jacket potatoes later. This weeks guest tailcock is *Starspark* - a twinkly and bright brew to get us in the festive mood.

I was hoping to win the Apple Chutney but no joy it seems, a big rollover again due to low numbers, never mind. Quality counts.

I can offer a box of used hearing aid batteries which can be added to the Starspark to liven it a little (and only a little).
