Does anyone know what time frame the deliveries are. I was going to get something delivered to my OH's workplace but I don't want Amazon turning up before they're open or after they've gone home. Thanks for any replies.

Well, I ordered son's telescope yesterday for delivery today before 1pm, confirmation said courier would be DPD. I tracked the order this morning and it said delivery between 9.52 and 10.52..... It just came at 10.40 so I'm well chuffed and I can stop worring about Christmas pressies now. Pheww.
I think all the stuff my Dad orders from Amazon comes via DPD and they've never let him down yet. Plus they fact they text you and give you quite a small window of time as to when you can expect your delivery (and they stick to it) is great.

Yodel could learn alot from them.
Amazon are now using YODEL....they are a terrible company and will lose Amazon customers. On monday I was waiting and tracking my order for 2nd attempt at delivery....although i was in for original delivery and no card was left in contrary to what my tracking page said. So on Monday i sat at front window watching.I had my laptop oat my side.At 11.22am the tracking changed and said...no one at home card left.....
I am not alone there are over 120 posts on Amazon customer discussions with similar or worse stories and many going to Play.com untill Amazon sack yodel
I'm not sure if you've read all the previous posts Mick but you're not alone on your thoughts of Yodel.

Amazon told me they can't control what carrier your items goes with. Balls.
y es....sorry i just jumped straight in without looking...saw a chance to have a go at Yodel and that was it,,,lol

My grandson wants a cowboy outfit for Christmas.....I think I may try and buy Yodel haha

I wonder if it depends where you live regarding the courier, I've never seen a yodel van around her, plenty of FedEx, DPD and UPS, obviously Royal Mail as well. I went onto a review site yesterday about DPD and was horrified, the reviews were awful, much the same as Yodels.
50pMost Yodel deliveries are little elderly men earning 50p per delivery using their own cars................
