Terre Degli Angeli Greco di Tufo. This is a bold an expressive example of the ancient Greco monovarietal. Abundant with tropical fruit and honey flavour, this wine is powerful yet elegant, very balanced with a long finish. Partners very well with cold dishes such as stuffed vine leaves and marinated artichoke hearts. Available in Waitrose for £13.99.

Marlborough Sounds NZ Sauvignon Blanc. A dynamic wines with striking aromas and favours of passionfruit and citrus zest. The perfect white to serve on its own or with a goats cheese starter. Currently on offer in the Co-op at £5.49.

Bottoms Up !!
When you see each other as infrequently as we do, Dave, you don't have time for small talk like that. My BF is lucky if he gets the door closed before I'm on him, LOL, LOL.

Hang on ... we were talking about sherry. Sorry.

Hi NoM..we are cooking a Duck and Pancetta..which requires Marsala wine..can you suggest a good one,at a reasonable price..please..oh,and the shop :)
Question Author
Hi Zhukov. I am afraid that I am unacquainted with Marsala so DT may be your best bet for a good recommendation.

I would imagine M&S, Waitrose or Sainsbury's would stock a good quality Marsala at a not too extortionate price.
They have a good deli at W/rose for Pancetta..will look for Marsala as well..thanks..
