I have 3 tv's and 3 freesat boxes. I have tried to connect i player via homeplugs but it is always hit and miss.
I have now hard wired three ethernet cables to the freesat boxes, sometimes I get i player sometimes not.
My thoughts are that we live in an area with poor internet connection, could this have some bearing?
Or that my router a Thomson Gateway supplied by plusnet it has 4 ethernet outlets cannot cope with the load?
Can onyone help me solve my problem??

The router will cope with the load fine as long as your Internet connection is good enough. and as you've said you live in an area with poor Internet then that is almost certainly your problem.

Which also probably means there was no problem with the home plugs in the first place, you should have tested them internally (device to device) rather than testing them using the internet.
