Their nude sunbathing in the garden when the weathers good. I don't know where to look.
13:50 Sun 10th Jun 2012
have mentioned it to the council oh 100 times, but they don't give a toss.
Bonfire time is definitely 8pm round here.
Just moved out, foreign, never spoke english, always 'chatted' loudly outside in their own native tongue at 11pm at night, flicked their cigarette butts everywhere, dirty, parked across my drive several times blocking me in, intimidating (guy always had a guy friend stood watching everytime I washed my car), parked so far across onto my drive (shared) that when opening their car doors dinged MY car door on countless occasions! Dreading who Im gonna get next.
The old witch next door to me is truly horrible. She has shouted and sworn at me in front of my daughter. Told me I'm a horrible person, a waste of space, why don't I just go cos no one wants me there anyway (that was because I had the flu and couldn't clean the close on the day she wanted it done), shouted at mr mac when he was really ill - about a neighbour's rubbish - and reported me for umpteen imaginary offences. The thing is, she has an MBE and was nominated citizen of the year because she does a lot of charity work, but she really is an old harridan.
The neighbours of my dads house (where I moved out of) drove me mad. The woman's parking was atrocious meaning I had to mount the lawn to park, they would play god awful music late at night and sing along badly as loud as they could, they have one of those horrible happy little dogs that they would just let bark in the garden for hours on end and what annoyed me most is that at about 6am they would make what I always assumed were smoothies. It sounded like a ground drill being turned on and off repeatedly for ten minutes every morning.

My new neighbours aren't too bad. Well, once that heap of junk out the front is moved. Although it does annoy me that I keep having foreign neighbours and when they have heated discussions you can never tell what it's about. (probably the bitch next door that reported their car).
so going on most answers, not good neighbours, so not just us then..
Mine are great, its just that they make me HUNGRY!
had there 6 grand kids living with them all last summer, did my Fluffing nut in!!!oh and smoking on there back step when they know we have the back door open and the smoke blows straight in. ummmmm old neighbours in previous addresses where never there lol
Our neighbours are OK, in fact reading through some of the posts on this thread I can't believe some of the sh!te you guys put up with.
ours gave us cockroaches, they were filthy, the neighbours as well as the cockroches, that was without the mess, rubbish everywhere, rows, kids screaming, luvverly.
My neighbour (rented house next door so had a fair few move in) seemed to spend most of the night awake with children, screams (of delight I hope), running up and down stairs, very loud tv etc. I was being kept awake so wrote a short note and said that could they keep the noise down after say 11 as I couldnt sleep. From that day I can honestly say they completely changed and must now be sleeping as they are quiet as anything. He never spoke about it and neither did I, just smile and say hello when our paths cross.
My neighbours are quite good in comparison except for one incident where the neighbour to one side of me decided to build an extension on the end of the house which would run alongside but not joined to my house.
He didn't inform me about it and when i did see what was happening he reassured me it was only going to go as high as our dividing garden fence.but then one day when i happened to be on a day off this big brick wall kept going higher and higher right outside my kitchen window making for a very dark kitchen.
Of course i rang our council and it was just a few weeks after when it was being taken down again.
We have brilliant neighbours apart from the woman with 7 cats who lets them defacate all over our bgarden.
One side are very odd, very territorial over the pavement/road - even painted a line on the pavement to show what bit was theirs (I have now made him my slave, and he got his wife to bring me a big box of chocolates) and their dogs bark all the time. Other side are rowing, swearing at each other, she screams, etc but they are moving soon (should have been out six weeks ago but still there, don't think it is going to end well) and their bloody dog barks all the time too.
My neighbours on both sides are OK except if their visitors come, they always park jutting out at the end of our drive, the OH goes mad about it. My pet annoyance is the Financial consultant opposite, he parks his car in front of his garage. He comes out of his house each morning taking his jacket off and raincoat if it's wet, puts them on the back seat of the car. When he comes home he gets out of his car puts his jacket and raincoat on and walks two steps to his front door. It's a ritual, I thought it was just me, but my neighbour asked if I'd noticed it. He must be watched by all the neighbours.
