Sorry for not putting question properly earlier - answers contain a bird or animal name - OLD SLANG NAME FOR A FOUR WHEELED HORSEDRAN CAB - buggy sounds great, giving BUG, but don't think it fits the category. Would BUCKboard sound better?

A bug is an animal - it is living and mobile so it certainly isn't a plant. It is not a primitive organism either. That makes it an animal by my definition

Actually growler is also correct as it is a fish. I did not see owl there.
