or kaleidoscope ?
(everything is confusingly mixed up )
I believe all species of man have inbuilt characteristics, such as Blacks are the best athletes, Whites are not so good but make better swimmers, Latins are more emotional, Chinese are more placid, etc etc.
So as well as having good characteristics is it not fair to say that some could also have the lesser acceptable characteristics?
Talk to any police Officer black or white and ask them who would be more likely to evade arrest by putting up a struggle a white man or a black man?
like that ^ total nonsense.

I think you need to remember that AOG is unhappy about the idea he has that black people aren't villified enough by modern British culture.
In this thread: http:// www.the answerb ...4.ht ml#answ er-4321 826 when someone commented that he couldn't see much need of a racial balance needing to be restored, AOG's response was:
"Then you must have your head buried in the sand.
When did you ever hear or see blacks criticised, or made out to be the bad guys etc, etc, in any film, tv programme, news, newspaper, by the police, by politicians, or by Town Halls?"

If black people are naturally better athletes than their white counterparts, mehy is there such a dearth of leading black cyclists?
Both running and cycling use the same muscle groups, but check the Tour De France - how many black cyclists do you see?
Wouldn't their God-given superior musculature give them an undeniable advantage?
This is my point - there are other factors to consider such as economics (running is extremely cheap, whereas a good racing bike costs as much as a nearly-new VW Polo), and precedent - black kids see successful black cricketers, footballers, boxers, runners and basketball players and this can instill an 'I could do that' attitude. However, where a sport has no, or very few black stars (show jumping, rugby, cross country skiing, yachting, four day eventing), black kids can think 'I couldn't make it in that sport'.
Also, some of those sports demand that you be fairly well-off to compete and there aren't enough black families with the funds to warrant such an expenditure.

That's exactly my point. Rather than throwing in the figure for the percentage of inmates who are black, we should be focussing on the wider implications behind the figures. What is their background? Did they have a stable home life? What was their school's latest Ofsted report look like? Do they come from a one-parent family? Were they bullied or abused as children? What qualifications did they leave school with? Do they come from an area with high unemployment?
People should be questioning why there are so many ex-servicemen in jail - especially as the numbers are increasing dramatically, and it's the same for black prisoners. If you believe that black people are more likely to be criminals because their black (and some people genuinely believe this), then
logic dictates that the high number of ex-servicemen in jail is because...well, I don't know. I have a theory, but it's a bit long-winded. But briefly, I think it's a mixture of not being able to cope with normal life after the regimented structure of service life, and a lack of qualifications that could secure them a decent living.
Someone coming out of the army, say, at 28 is up against people who have already chosen a civilian career path and may have ten years experience on them.

sp, don't want to drag this out, but suggest that many ex servicemen have any number of problems, but mental health comes to mind. If you have been ordered to go out and shoot someone, that's part of the job if you are in a war type situation, i am not suggesting that happens all the time. There has to come a time when those thoughts come back to haunt you. In days gone by shell shock wasn't recognised, where there is now sufficient evidence that it had an enormous impact on servicemen in WW1 that i am sure still goes on today.
Some of the poor servicemen who suffered from it were shot for so called cowardice, appalling.
So perhaps the reason many ex servicemen are in jail is they not getting the help they need when back in civvie street.

As I have told you before, there is no reason why blacks should be any worse off than whites.
Apart from the class system that has always been operative in Britain, in 21st century Britain all the lower classes have the same opportunities be them black or white.
Some may choose to live a certain style of life, but this happens no matter what colour of skin one has.
