corby, really, that's interesting, ho ho
I had a look at a previous thread from a few year ago, odd how he appears to be one of his biggest fans now...
you should post it, give us all a laugh, after all that's what Terry has been doing..
http://www.theanswerb...s/Question564687.html

i always seem to get those two mixed up, which is odd considering they are total opposites, but i am quite happy to admit to the error(correct spelling this time)

but my sentiments re Terry still stand, he Is a footballing thug and is not fit to put on an England shirt, why he deems it necessary to parade his kids around the pitch is beyond me
Just to clarify, I meant to put quotes there.
Baz
there it is

"my OP should have said John "chav thug" Terry of Chelsea "
hoist with your own petard comes to mind.
Corby I know you're anti English so therefore don't like John Terry.
How do you feel about Roy Keane?
A footballing thug who ended a fellow professionals career with a calculated assault on the field of play (Alf Inge Haaland)..He was also sent home from the World Cup in 2002 for, amongst other things, calling manager Mick McCarthy an "English c***" who had no right managing "his" nations football team.
He know has a good job working as a pundit on ITV.
I've never met John Terry so couldn't comment on his personality but he's been found not guilty.
The PC brigade will no doubt be gnashing their teeth in frustration..As a white Englishman who feel a bit oppressed these days I find that comforting.
MightyWBA did you read the link? If you had, you'd have seen they were the thoughts of bazwillrun and not me.
missed the point i think..
i always understood it was against FA rules to use foul and abusive language on the pitch during a game.

so that's alright then.
THECORBYLOON

I bow to you. How in earth did you find that thread???

Are you a wizard or something.

Laughed for about a minute over that.

Brilliant.
Years ago we were told not to use the word ***-but to use the word Black instead. Now you can be taken to Court for saying Black. Will someone make their mind up,please ??

/// I still think he's guilty but that's just my opinion, not surprised at AOG piddling his pants over the verdict with his "If it's white, its alright" attitude ///

Yes the not guilty verdict has obviously upset some, see how they resort to personal insulting remarks, when they lose.
Much has been said on here regarding PC, racism and Black and White sensitivities.

I have also been accused of my "If it's white, its alright" attitude"

So this has got me thinking about this cartoon which I entered in another thread.

http://www.dailymail....curity-Macs-view.html

So I now ask if the cartoonist had drawn the would be security trainee as a black person, would it have ever been allowed to be published?
AOG: the cartoon.

1. The majority of G4S guards and applicants are white males.
2. The majority of muggers are white males

The cartoon would not make any sense, let along be mildly funny, if it portrayed a blackman.
anotheoldgit, you do not appear to read, hear or see anything without wondering about the outcome had the colour of those involved been different.
Gromit

1. The majority of G4S guards and applicants are white males.

2. The majority of muggers are white males

Both statements may be correct, considering that the majority of British are white.

Regarding the G4S guards applicants in the cartoon there is even a male and female Muslim portrayed.

Regarding the muggers it would be interesting to see the figures as a percentage.

/// The cartoon would not make any sense, let along be mildly funny, if it portrayed a blackman. ///

And why not, it may have been a little on the stereotyping side, but it would have been creditable.
AOG

It's a cartoon. It doesn't have to be 'creditable', but even so, if the majority of applicants are white males, what would it add to make the subject a black male?

If the FA goes along with this Terry should consider taking the FA to court, I am sure he would win his case.
