Even that's at a loss for Liverpool of £15m, I don't think any club will pay the £20m asking price but Newcastle may up their bit from £13m to £15m later in the transfer window.
Is this a sign that Cisse or Ba is on the way out? It would be a shame if they are as I thought Pardew was putting together a really good side there.
I think its far too early for the transfer speculation as we all know it goes haywire in the last week, after the Prem as already kicked off. (?)!!!

however I do think that Newcastle as much as they'd like to keep him wouldn't be able to resist an offer for Ba.
That's what I was thinking, and I'm quite sure I read somewhere that his release clause was quite low, comparitively.
I didn't know that Duncer... about De Ba's contract etc.. with no disrespect to Newcastle, I agree that they would be better as a team than bringing Caroll back in.
Its rumoured that we might get him for £15m.......Which means that from the £35 million sale of Andy Carroll, we will have mangaged to finaince the following players...Cisse, Ben Arfa, Cabaye, Tiote and................Andy Carroll!
Who in their right mind would want to work for 'nutter' Mike Ashley?
