what's the difference between Gala Pie and Grosvenor Pie?

That is possible for someone making 1 pie in their own home. I don't really think it is practical for commercial production.

Also, does Grosvenor pie still exist? I can't recall seeing any in the last 20 years.

£18 for 2kg! that's expensive for a pork pie. I will have to go to Crombie's and see if they have any.
Mrask used to work for the Co-op butchering Dept, and every Monday he had to leave the shop and work at the abbatoir. Sometimes he worked in the pie-making dept. Someone lost the implement to make the hole in the top of the pies so he had to use his finger to make the hole and pour in the gravy. There wasn't so much mechanisation to making pies in those days.
