Of course he's not talking, if he tells the police where she is he's as good as guilty, if they find her but no evidence to connect him to the abduction he'll be let go. Why would he talk? If he is guilty he doesn't care what has happened to her.

She got the LHD bit right bless her and there won't be that many of those round there I wouldn't think. That must have been a crucial bit of info for the police.
