........ with no damage to yourselves or your property? Awful pictures on news of West country gales and flooding. We have had some here earlier in the East Midlands but it has calmed down a bit at the moment. Keep safe everyone! x

Yes we are safe here in the North East,I feel so awful for those who have to endure these horrendous floods. It must be so depressing for them.
Much calmer now as well in the West Mids, Ann.

Sad news of girl killed by falling tree in Devon, but why camping overnight in a tent in this awful weather? Was she at a music festival?
And here too Ann. Roads around bad but I'm on a hill so no flooding but winds hit us scarily.
Don't forget you can contact me via Sunny-Dave. x
Very windy overnight here in SW Essex, still a bit blowy but the sun is shining and we have the makings of a beautiful day, don't know if we'll get one though, we can live in hope.
It is still raining down here in Devon. It has not stopped for three days, and not drizzle, real torrential rain and gales battering against the windows! Luckily we live high up, but summer house roof came loose and OH had to get on stepladder to fix it.
A young woman died when a tree fell on the tent she was sleeping in. She must have been homeless to have been under canvas in weather like this.

Hi Gness, sorry meant to email you, got to find SD's throw away address. Will look later and contact you. We live on a hill too so no chance of flooding either, unless it is Noah's Ark time! x
North West is very windy but not much rainfall, due to brighten up later we are told.
