Was the 8th August 1988 (8.8.88) significant for any ABers?. I was married on that day at Gretna. Today (coincidentally also the 8th) is 8888 days since. I'm fascinated.

8/8/2008 was the day I got married.

On 7.7.77 a group of us school friends talked about getting together again on 8.8.88.

We didn't as we'd lost touch by then.

We had no idea how far and wide we'd be scattered or how much growing up we'd have done in those 11 years.
