I yesterday tried to renew my monthly subscription.

Was looking forward to The Listener this evening and the TLS...........Not to mention all the weekend puzzles I was looking forward to!

Anyway, site says they are taking no new members! (I am a member!)

Does anyone have an idea of what's going on?

Apart from a notice (that could easily be missed) saying they are updating the site, I am clueless (ha!).

Thanks for the offer X-word fan, but I brought the TLS this morn (£2.70!!!) and I will buy the Times tomorrow............
Just wish I knew what is going on............will do it the old fashioned way for now, I guess!

I've emailed all the numbers I could find, to no avail. Finally bit the bullet and telephoned the number they have on the log in page.............it's an answer machine that says "this department is now closed for the bank holiday and will open at 8am tomorrow". Even though it's not a bank holiday and the hours they state they are open are 9am-5.30pm ???

Baffled................I hope that some kind person that is a member of the site (too much to ask, I know) could find out what all this "not taking new members" is about.
I'm having serious withdrawal from my favourite website. :-((

Ticket prices much cheaper when I saw them! Must be late 70's early 80's!
